> Canada-United States Cargo Security Project

The Center is conducting several research projects related to cargo and port security, using northern New England and eastern Canada as a “test-bed” for research and project implementation. Working in collaboration with numerous federal, state, provincial, and private sector stakeholders, the Canada-U.S. Cargo Security Project (the original “Operation Safe Commerce”) and the U.S. Virtual Sea Border Project continue to identify, evaluate, and validate cutting-edge solutions to the challenges of port and cargo security.
