> Information Sharing and Analysis Centers (ISACs)

Information Sharing and Analysis Centers (ISACs) were created by the Presidential Directive 63 (PDD 63). They were designed to share important information about vulnerabilities, threats, intrusions and anomalies within and between industry sectors and the National Infrastructure Protection Center (NIPC). PDD 63 anticipated that the private sector in consultation with the Federal Government would develop sector organizations to gather, analyze and disseminate private and public sector information to its members and NIPC. Some but not all Sectors have an ISAC while some sectors have multiple ISACs.

The Information Sharing and Analysis Centers Council (ISAC Council) provides white papers and other publications.
